Headache

Patient Presentation:

38 years old female patients currently undergoing acupuncture and IVF for fertility. She is awaiting transfer and is put on various hormone medications from her IVF doctor. She has been going in for acupuncture to help increase her chance of success. After her latest round of medication, she developed a headache with a pain level of 5/10. The headache came the day before her regular treatment and was still present when she came in.

Result: Headache immediately gone after needle insertion and she reported no more headaches at her following session.
