Low Back Pain

Patient Presentation:

43 years old male with low back pain due to a herniated disc. Pain is worst on the left side and is a consistent 7 out of 10. Patient is unable to stand or walk for long period of time. Bending or getting out of bed is also difficult without feeling a strain on his lower back (L4-S1 area).

Result: within a few minutes after needling during his first treatment, patient’s pain level went down to a 0 out 10. He was able to bend without any issue. The treatment lasted for 2 days until the pain level came back at 5/10. After 8 treatments his pain level fluctuated between 1-3 out of 10. More treatments are recommended for continued improvement.
