Fertility Acupuncture

I rarely ever leave reviews on Yelp, but I felt inclined to leave a review for Kim because she's truly changed my life.
When I met Kim in 2019, I was skeptical about how acupuncture could help me with my upcoming IVF procedure. Once I started getting weekly sessions, I could feel the dramatic difference when that time of the month came. I used to feel weak and very uncomfortable during that time, but not anymore.. I barely noticed it! So after a couple months, I increased my sessions to two per week. Then my IVF retrieval came, and my oh my.. 30 retrieved, 20 fertilized, and 9 made it to testing! I'm already 35, and my results were better than my first IVF retrieval at 29 years old (which was a total failed ivf, zero made it to testing). Fast forward a few months, I'm now 9 weeks pregnant with my first ever transfer!
On top of my fertility issues, I actually have kidney disease also, in which I leak large amounts of protein into my urine. Well, I went in for routine lab work, and my kidneys' protein levels were the lowest they've ever been.. almost normal! I was blown away because I haven't done anything different.. other than acupuncture. I told her my results and that's when she told me more details about the treatment I've been getting. While Kim treated my fertility issues, I didn't know that she was treating my kidneys.. which "controls" our reproductive organs.
During this Covid pandemic, my husband pulled his lower back and I called Kim to see if there's anything we can do to help with his back pain. She was willing to see him immediately and instantly he felt so much better!! After a week of seeing her daily, his pain was gone! We used to spend so much money on chiropractic care for my husband, but Kim's work has shown better long term relief for him. He sees her once a week now just for maintenance and to relax.
If you're looking for an acupuncturist, you should definitely give Kim a try. She's devoted to her work and her skills are exceptional!! Don't forget, though, that acupuncture takes some time, but treatment yields long term results!
Overall, I feel like I'm doing something good for my health and body just by seeing her!

Kim has such a calming and positive aura about her that has helped both emotionally (which does not go lightly considering all the hormone injections) and physically. I feel like she truly exudes compassion and care. It really feels like she's treating you from the heart. She has treated both my husband and myself. I am still under her care for my current pregnancy which was immediately after 2 failed IVF cycles, we were able to conceive naturally under her care and guidance (all in the same year) and something we didn't even believe could happen). Kim takes the time to understand and listen to her patients and customizes a treatment plan best suitable for their needs. Derek is so nice, patient and responsive. He is extremely friendly, helpful and supportive. There's a sense of working with their patients, rather than working on them which is empowering and helps with the healing process. She really is a godsend, our whole family is grateful to have found 7 sages.

I was looking for a holistic approach to my infertility. We’ve been trying for our second and after a miscarriage I knew I had try something different. I wasn’t ready for fertility treatments like IVF etc.I’ve never done accupuncture before however after doing some reading and talking to friends who have done accupuncture for other ailments I’ve decided to book an appointment. At my first appointment Kim did a very thorough intake of my history and what realistically to expect from my treatments and how long ithe journey may be.She definitely has a strict regimen to get your body prepared. I stuck to her recommendations on diet, herbal mix that’s specifically for you and appointments. 4 months later I was pregnant. I’m now almost 6 month with a healthy baby boy and I still go to Kim once a week. I look forward to my visits, since I always get a great nap in and feel so refreshed afterwards. I could definitely feel the difference in my energy after the first couple treatments. Kim really takes time to get to know your needs and explains what your personal treatment looks like. I highly recommend Kim to my friends. So glad I found her!

I love Kim at 7 Sages! When I started coming I couldn't open my mouth very wide because of TMJ and it was giving me weekly migraines. Now, I don't have clicking or lock jaw nor do I get migraines as often. I probably experience one every couple months now. Earlier this year I asked her about fertility and wanting to start trying for baby #2. I am now 12 weeks pregnant and baby is doing well! I can't say enough good things about Kim and her practice!

Kim is an amazing acupuncturist. She is so caring and always listens to one’s concerns. Last year she detect something was wrong in my lower abdomen and recommended me to see my doctors . Turns out I had a massive fibroid which has been making it difficult for me to conceive. I’m someone who goes yearly to the doctor for checkups and this was never found . If it wasn’t for Kim I don’t know what would have happened to me .

I have been going to Kim for a few months for fertility and she has helped balance and improve my menstrual cycles!
I also recently sprained my ankle and had so much pain that I needed crutches to walk. I went to Kim to see if she could help. I walked into her office limping, and came out walking without pain! I have no idea how she does it. But it was amazing!

She is always looking for ways to help ease my pains and symptoms around fertility treatments and pregnancy while ensuring the well-being of my growing baby. Kim is an actual angel. I've tried several acupuncturists and her level of care and expertise is truly unmatched.
I first came to her about 10 months ago, before starting my first Ivf cycle. I was living in constant pain from Endometriosis and on top of that I had chronic neck and shoulder pain from a car accident. Together we decided my body was not quite ready for intense fertility treatments so I took a step back and decided to focus on getting my pain levels down. Now let me tell you the amount of relief I felt almost immediately with my day to day pain was amazing. She also helped me shift my diet to a more anti inflammatory approach and it's incredible at the response my body had. Shortly after getting my neck and shoulder pain under control we started focusing on my mensural cycle. I went from a 7-10 day heavy period to a 3-4 day somewhat light period. My pain levels have gone from about a 9 to 4. Like what!!? This is a whole new lease on life for me. This was soooo remarkable as I've never had any relief with my cycles over the years. Here's where it gets intense.. most recently I've started back with my fertility doctor to get ready for an ivf cycle, and in comparing my ultrasound from about a year ago until now my left Fallopian tube that was pretty dilated with a build up of fluid has completely cleared out and had less tissue build up. This was just amazing to see all this hard work of weekly sessions paying off. I don't have my miracle baby yet, but I have Kim and all her knowledge and compassion on my side and my hope and optimism has never been greater! For the first time in 10 years I have a professional I trust with my health and I could be more grateful. If you've ever thought about acupuncture this is your sign, call Kim she will change your life

I was pretty skeptical about acupuncture before meeting Kim. However, I have been seeing her for almost a year now for fertility and pregnancy (sometimes twice a week, sometimes once a week when I am too busy). After years of trying without success, I was finally able to conceive under Kim's care and when we found out I had placenta previa, she also managed to get it resolved so that I would be able to birth my baby naturally. Her skills are indeed amazing! She also just moved into a new office that is super cute, clean and relaxing. I will continue treating with Kim for the remaining duration of my pregnancy as well as future pregnancies.

Kim is AMAZING!! I started seeing Kim in January 2020 for fertility reasons. I've always been treated with friendliness, respect, and kindness. Fertility is a personal passion of hers and it SHOWS. She's proactive and positive in her approach. Pairing acupuncture and herbs she customizes it all to your unique body and needs. Amazing!
In my time seeing her I went from not ovulating or getting my period (thanks PCOS) to having both every month REGULARLY. A huge win! I cannot recommend her enough!!

Kim is an amazing acupuncturist! She makes you feel comfy, safe and is very caring. I was very skeptical about getting treatments at first because I wasn't sure it would work for me. Then I decided to just go for it and try it out. Kim has been treating me since January 2021. So far, she helped me regulate my cycles, helped me get rid of my migraines, and more! She's a miracle worker. If you make time and go consistently to get treatment, you'd get a higher chance of positive results. :) Her clinic is super clean and the rooms are super comfy! I always look forward to going to my appointment! Thank you, Kim, for all that you do for me!

I started Kim's fertility program about 11 months ago. I was struggling to get pregnant and I was told by a fertility doctor that my best option was IVF. I really wasn't ready to try IVF, so I started searching for alternative options. One of my friends told me about Kim so I decided to give accupuncture a try.
Kim's fertility program seems intense at first glance, but it really works. Kim is incredibly knowledgeable and she is deeply caring and understanding about infertility issues. She was able to balance my hormones, regulate my cycles and after 7 months of working with her, I got pregnant! I am currently in my second trimester and Kim is still helping me throughout my pregnancy and I feel great.
I truly cannot thank Kim enough for everything that she has done for me and I highly recommend her. If you are trying to get pregnant and thinking about trying her program, stop thinking and just go for it, you won't regret it!

​I started seeing Kim on 08/2020. I actually was just looking to do a few sessions to help me with my next round of IVF as I heard acupuncture "can help." When I did my consultation with her- she told me she recommended at least 6 months of acupuncture weekly before doing another round of IVF. This totally conflicted with my instructions from the doctor I was seeing, as we were going to begin Egg Retrieval #2 the next week. I had no viable embryos with the first egg retrieval we did. The doctor told me that it was due to my "poor egg quality." After having a melt down in Kim's office because she recommended I wait at least 6 months & come in for weekly treatments- while the doctor was ready to proceed with a second round...
I took the night to sleep on it & reevaluate my situation. I'm also a RN, so after reviewing that my FSH was through the roof after the egg retrieval at 16.2 (the FSH for post menopausal patients!) --I began to think that our fertility doctor did not have my best interest. I knew that the outcome of a second egg retrieval would not be good with such high FSH & my body really needed a break from all the hormones. I went with my gut feeling, cancelled the cycle, & started seeing Kim every week. At first, I couldn't even lay there for 30 mins. My body was used to "the fight or flight" and didn't know how to get into the "rest & digest" mode.
The first 3 months were crazy- Kim was telling me she was "regulating my cycle & purging all the hormones in my system." At this point, I don't think I really believed anything was happening, I just kept going to appointments because it was helping me relax. Then after 4-5 months, my cycle was back to normal, and my stress levels had decreased. With a clearer mind, I looked up other doctors' success rates & changed REI doctors. After seeing a new REI doctor and running some labs, I found out my FSH had improved: 06/2020 it was 9.2, 08/2020 it was 16.2, and on 04/2021 it was 8.5. It was at this moment that I knew acupuncture works. Kim essentially helped my body flush out all of the IVF hormones & brought down my FSH levels. I also noticed my immune system improving; I stayed healthy and didn't get a cold for 16 months. After 8 months of seeing Kim, we proceeded with our 2nd egg retrieval on 04/2021 and had a MUCH better outcome. I even tolerated the IVF medications MUCH better this time around- I was not nearly as depleted and exhausted.
Kim also showed me the sites to inject so I would feel less pain. We did our Frozen Embryo Transfer on 10/2021, I saw Kim before & after the transfer. I took a pregnancy test just 4 days after the transfer and already saw a faint line. The craziest thing was, I didn't tell Kim that I had been taking pregnancy tests pretty much every day to see a line progression-- and she felt my pulse, got teary eyed, and SHE JUST KNEW I WAS PREGNANT. It's been a 3 year journey for us to get pregnant, but I wholeheartedly believe that acupuncture has increased our chances, if not given us a better outcome with IVF. Bear in mind though that you can't just have 1 or 5 sessions, it's a commitment to come in consistently.
I am now 20 weeks pregnant, and I experienced ONE episode of nausea/vomiting/heartburn. I actually had no symptoms of pregnancy, that it worried me-- many people have told me I'm one of the "lucky ones" but I believe that the reason why I did not have any morning sickness with this pregnancy is because my body was balanced. If you're looking for fertility coach & speciality acupuncturist, Kim's it. Also, her office is super cute & sound machines in every room help you zen out.
